Habitat Institute Activity Centre, Seashell的点评
点评：I had couple of days time in Havelock island while my son went for diving. First day I toll a marine walk with naturalist Mr. Sanghvi. I found the activity to be very informative and engaging. Mr. Sanghvi was very kind and patient. It was fun to walk around the Mangrove trees and wade thru the tide pool and observe the little marine animals. That night we had a stargazing session with Mr. Anurag. We got to see Mars, Jupiter( including its rings and moons), and many constellations. Mr. Anurag was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions or explain things very easily. Next day I had an early morning session with Mr. Bhaskar to watch the sunrise at Kalapathar beach and a early morning walk to watch the birds. He had loaned me his binoculars with which I was able to find the birds up above the trees. Since we walked thru the village, it was an easy walk. We saw about 20 different species. Some were native birds like Andhaman Dourang and Andaman Coucal and migratory bird like dollar bird. Heard interesting stories about birds from him too like why the butcher bird got its name. He made the session very interesting. On the whole the activities I have engaged myself were very interesting and fun, i would recommend this to
