Subsequently, after an additional 40-minute wait, a young staff member apologized, explaining that unforeseen events prevented public access.
This series of events demonstrates a severe lack of organization and a blatant disregard for the time and expectations of visitors. The conflicting information and repeated delays could have been easily avoided with clear communication and adherence to advertised hours. Instead, I and my family were subjected to unnecessary inconvenience and frustration, effectively wasting two days of our vacation.
Having traveled extensively, I can confidently state that I have never encountered such a level of unprofessionalism. This experience has significantly tarnished my impression of Giardini di Cataldo and I would strongly advise potential visitors to exercise caution before planning a visit.
