点评：We had a spectacular time. We were on the Coral 1 and glad we were. It holds more people but the upper deck is so much better than Coral 11. The most we had was 27 on the second half of the trip. We went on a 7 night/8 day trip. I wouldn't go on anything shorter to see the variety of life on the different Islands. The Coral I has 36 passengers , the Coral II 20. Unfortunately they won't guarantee which boat you will go on. Being on this size boat gets you into places where the bigger boats can't
We were on the upper deck with a large double/queen size bed. Very small bathroom and window that doesn't open but the door opened to a walk way. Some nights we kept the door open to look out at the stars and mainly for fresh air as the air conditioner was useless. You would not want to be in the smaller cheaper cabins as they are on the very bottom, stuffy, hot and if you are near the anchor very noisy.
The food was fine, served buffet style. Wouldn't bang on about the quality, the meat dishes tough but fish delicious. More often than not we would run out of tea bags and have to wait until fresh stores were delivered.
The staff was great, friendly, helpful.
There are two hikes a day and 2 snorkels a day. The itinerary is full on at times and for older people its a lot, but then again you only have 8 days to fit it all in.
Everyday there was a new surprise. Plenty of wildlife to see. The guides are hit and miss, if you work out which one is best for you, stick to their boat. We had one good, one not so good,once we worked this out we enjoyed out trip so much more. If you have health issues let the Manager know and request extra help getting on/off boats, dry landings, snorkeling etc, once we chatted to them, they sent extra help erywhere we went and it was so appreciated. Made the trip so much better for us.
Would recommend Go Galapagos/Klein tours/Coral 1 and 11. But we wont be back, its a one off tour.
