点评：Ney's company is makes going into the Amazon easy. You get a bit of everything and the days are very well planned out. On top of that, the schedule is very flexible. The transport is very smooth and functions like a well-oiled machine. Upon arriving into the first resting place, we are welcomed at a resort. The food provided is delicious. Probably one of the best meals I had in Brazil for the 3 months I was there. The resort overlooks the rivers for one to go swimming. It is fun to swim knowing that some of the animal in the Amazon are there. I am so lucky to get Scott as my guide. The man has vast knowledge of the Amazon and jungle survival. He is full of energy and heart that makes this tour fly by. He took us on a boat tour where we had a chance to see pink dolphins and at night caiman, snakes, and various birds. I had three nights in the jungle where Scott taught me how to make a fire from just flint and woods found in the jungle. We made our own starter, our own kindling, and made our own wood, all with a machete. One tour we made our own shelter and bed from the woods and leaves of the jungle. Had a fun time making a blow dart with just a bamboo chute and a leave to hollow it out. Sleeping in the jungle was memorable and oddly kinda chilly, which is perfect. We saw a lot of different insects and some marine life. Did a canoe tour in the flooded forest, which is not something I had on my bucket list but it is now. Went piranha fishing and caught some for dinner. Met an indigenous family and learn about the making of Farina and got a chance to learn about traps and shot a longbow. Swam in the water with the pink dolphins. Learned a lot of the Guyana, as Scott is from there. It is now on my list of travel destinations. Lastly the Amazon itself is just so beautiful. Never expected to see so much reflection in the water. Highly recommend booking with Ney. You will never sleep hungry and you will never be bored.
