点评：Having retained driver/guides in over 7 countries, Sydney Tours and Andrew Sorokin were the worst we have experienced. We were charged for daily times of 8 to 10 hours yet never had more than 6 – a rip off. Mr. Sorokin interjected and dominated every conversation we had with his own social commentary and cockamamie theories. He interjected himself in our lunches, sitting down uninvited and ordering on our account. He ran a typical cruise run tour around Sydney harbour and would not entertain requests for specific sightseeing (like local arts). He gassed up his vehicle on our time (even though we didn’t start til 10 am) and parked us deep in a dank underground garage, rather than dropping us off near the sites. He selected a damp Hunter Valley winery for us to visit (clearly a buddy of his) which served terrible swill (they called “Hogwash”) and no facility to sit down. During a Botanical Garden visit in the pouring rain, he took one of two umbrellas for himself and let the four of us (including 2 women) got soaked sharing the remaining one. At one hotel he had us walk 2 blocks to his car in rain as he did not want us walking on grass before entering his van in case any residue grass got transferred from our shoes. While I was exiting from the back row of the van, he slammed the seat back on my left-hand causing abrasion and bruising, then on the last day repeated the effort on my right hand. Never an apology. Mislead us about the independent driver in Melbourne who he represented as his company. In spite of everything, one in our party left him a tip (a mistake) for which he never said thank you. Not what we expected. You will be sorely disappointed!
