Worth a visit, maybe more colourful in the summer.

点评：Visited here recently with a coach party. The house was open, but l prefer gardens to the houses. Were given maps to find our way around. The grounds are lovely, but not a lot of colour this time of the year. But plenty of seating and it was a lovely sunny day. The carriage house was a good place to visit with plenty to see and helpful staff to explain things. I called at the restaurant for a snack, usually l just have soup seeing we were staying in a hotel. they had two to offer that day, l choose the tomato, but on it arriving found it very thin. When l queried it told that was as it should be, but was offered the alternative which was vegetable and much better, so it was changed over, the chunky bread to go with it was lovely. No plants for sale but they have a nice gift shop.
