Disappointed by the Value – Overpriced for What You Get

点评：I recently visited Rock Barn Spa and tried the "Queen for a Day" package ($395 + facility fee). It included an 80-minute massage, lunch, two drinks, and facility access. After experiencing the amazing amenities at King Spa in Virginia (around $80 for all-day access to multiple hot, cold, salt, wood, and crystal rooms), I was excited to find something closer to home. Sadly, Rock Barn did not measure up.
The spa facility felt more like a nice hotel pool than a true spa retreat--certainly not worth the steep price tag. While the spa deck staff were kind and attentive, the massage was the biggest letdown. What was supposed to be a deep tissue massage felt more like getting lightly rubbed with oil. Despite asking multiple times for more pressure and muscle focus, it never improved.
Spending over $400 on the experience left me disappointed. I shared my concerns with the front desk and was contacted by customer service, who offered 10% off my next visit. Unfortunately, that discount barely covers the facility fee they charge each time.
If you're looking for a truly rejuvenating experience with great value, I recommend making the trip to King Spa in Virginia. Treat yourself to the Korean body scrub-you'll get your money's worth and leave completely refreshed.
