点评：The accessibility here is amazing!
Often I find when attending entertainment venues you have to go round the back or down a sidestreet where there's bins but the accessible entrance is right next to the main doors here which makes it so much better.
I waited a total of probably 2 minutes for a woman to come to unlock the accessible entrance doors, which is very speedy. From the second I got there I was directed where to wait, informed someone was on their way and when the lady got there she apologised for the wait (which really wasn't that long).
There were 2 members of staff who assisted me, one male who held the doors open so I was able to get through and one female who opened the doors. They both treated me with respect and kindness and they had a good sense of humour, which is a bonus.
After exiting the lift on the first floor the lady informed me of what will happen in case of a fire, told me to come back to a meeting point which was by the lift if there was anything I needed anything (like the toilet which is located downstairs) and when the gig ended. She also pointed me towards the bar.
The lady on the bar was lovely, she was having some problems with the card machine tonight but she was very professional. Having previously worked in a bar I know it's an absolute nightmare when there is an issue like that but she handled it much better than most people I know would 😅. Because wheelchairs are quite low down, I couldn't quite see the drinks in the fridges and she was helpful and patient letting me know what there was.
Over all, my friends and I had a very positive night, this is definitely a venue I will revisit in the future.
