点评:Real mixed feelings on this one. If you read the script you go this is great. Lots of good work being done here. However once you visit and see the reality it’s somewhat different. Firstly it’s 790000 IDR for the basic entrance price. For 2 people.
You’re met with all the pictures of the celebrities meeting the Mason family (maybe they all privately donate). As you wander through the park you can observe elephant rides and feeding and indeed take part if you wish. As you carry on wandering you come across the art gallery where there’s a Ringo Starr painting proudly exhibited. And some famous Japanese artist. There’s also a custom made guitar with ivory inlay which was commissioned for the owner. As you meander through the park you eventually come back to the entrance where they house the museum. I’m not sure if all artefacts are donated, loaned or purchased. There is however items in the display which would be pretty much unaffordable for the average person. For us the whole experience was just a pretentious commercialised venture.
