Sea to Sky Expeditions的点评
点评：My friend and I went on a 10 canoe trip from Minto to Dawson City in the Yukon with Sea to Sky Expeditions last August with a group of 11 including 2 guides. Both of us had done other canoe trips with other agencies in the Yukon and had great experiences. Not with Sea to Sky, it was an extremely disappointing trip. Day one we paddled from Minto to Fort Selkirk and were given no guidance on the landing & as a result 2/6 canoes ended up in the water. The second landing was equally chaotic and dangerous. Both guides were not familiar with that part of the river and the lead guide made hasty decisions which compromised everyone’s safety. The junior guide had to take over as lead guide day four because the lead wasn’t able to manage the role. He did his best and got us to Dawson City safely.
The lead guy hastily shopped for food the night before, didn’t prepare properly, didn’t pack enough food and missed several meals. We had to wait for a half a day at Fort Selkirk for a food drop off and still had no coffee creamer or decent meals. The food was horrendously bad, (see attached photos) basically one pot slop every night. No dessert, no veggies, or fresh fruit. Two boxes of cookies for a group of 13 for the the trip. The bad, inadequate food had a really negative effect on the trip. On other trips we had amazing food with delicious dinners & hot desserts every night but not this time.
The ownership of this company changed in 2024 and the new owners didn’t seem to care we had a terrible experience. They acknowledged we had a “sub par” experience but only offered a 25% discount on our next trip which they admitted would be “a leap of faith”. I would seriously consider other agencies such as Ruby Range, Kanoe People or Yukon Wild. I’d stay away from Sea to Sky Expeditions for this trip.

这家公司的所有权在 2024 年发生了变化，新东家似乎并不关心我们的糟糕经历。他们承认我们的体验“低于标准”，但只为我们的下一次旅行提供了 25% 的折扣，他们承认这将是“一次冒险”。我会认真考虑其他机构，例如 Ruby Range、Kanoe People 或 Yukon Wild。这次旅行我不会选择 Sea to Sky Expeditions。
