I’ve found one. It’s Sea to Sky Expeditions in British Columbia. They run a variety of canoeing, kayaking and backpacking trips in interesting places like British Columbia, the Yukon and Tanzania. Want tasty, healthy food? Want professional and caring guides? Want interesting trip participants? Want exciting and beautiful locations? Want top notch organization? I’ve found it all at Sea to Sky Expeditions.
In the Fall of 2023 I participated on a canoe trip in the Bowron Lakes Provincial Park, BC and in July 2024 I came back for more and I tripped with this company in Tweedsmuir Park Provincial Park South , BC. I loved both places and canoe trips. Soaring, snow-capped, volcanic mountains, beautiful lakes, great paddling and hiking, flying over vast glaciers, Canada’s highest free-falling waterfall, gorgeous campsites with good swimming plus expert guides and unusually good food. These are the criteria of an excellent trip. This company owned by Georgia and Gary know how to deliver quality backcountry experiences at reasonable rates. I’m already planning my next year’s trip with Sea to Sky Expeditions.
