Fantastic, friendly place to climb indoors, for beginners and experienced of any age.
Alter Rock Climbing Centre的点评
点评：I’d recommend Alter Rock to anyone who’s ever fancied giving climbing on ropes a go. Not only is it an amazing place for kids with fun extra activities (my son loved the cave and the rope walk!), there’s a lot of different routes to try for a wide range of abilities. Alter provides great instruction for beginners if you need it, but the staff are also fab at just egging you up the wall if you’re stuck on a particularly knotty problem.
I joined the beginners course years ago even though I’d climbed a little before, and it boosted my confidence no end. When I struggled to find anyone to belay with (I can’t climb at regular times in the evenings), the owner picked up on it and asked if he could help. Keen to help keep anyone climbing, he paired me with people that I got on with when I was able to climb on belay buddy nights, and even climbs with me during the daytime if he's free, so I can keep my hand in.
Alter Rock has given me a safe, healthy activity that I love and, for me, is so much more fun than the gym!
