Shark And Ray Rescue Centre的点评
点评：This place is grossly overpriced.
It cost $178 for one adult, a 6 and 3 year old. Everything was “extra”
You want to see the butterflies? Extra.
You want to wade in the pool? Extra.
It’s school holidays. Extra.
The pricing is also not displayed at point of sale or upon entry, it was all spoken, which was confusing.. and I was shocked when it came to $178. But it’s too late by the time they punched it into the eftpos machine and waited for payment. The fact there is no prices displayed is totally strategic, the owners must also know it’s a total rip off, it’s a manipulation tactic.
The building is run down and old.
There’s no butterflies in the enclosure.
The food we were given to feed the rays probably amounted to 2 grams.. some teeny tiny squid bits.. stingy.
There was also this weird push at multiple instances to upsell the MEGA pass. And so many times we were approached to write a review. There were “write a review” signs everywhere. “Make sure you like us on Facebook” etc It was awkward.
THAT SAID. The kids loved it. (Which is why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1)
They were able to wade amongst the sting rays and port Jackson sharks and pat them, they were thrilled. They were ready to go after 60 minutes.
There also needed to be a staff member monitoring the pools.. some young boys got it and started chasing the sting rays, picked one up with both hands and lifted it up, it was thrashing around. (The parents didn’t care) I felt sorry for the sting rays and the whole tank felt stressed, swimming erratically etc
Take the kids if you’ve got money to burn, definitely a holiday treat when the budget is non existent.
We won’t go back.

还需要一个工作人员来监控水池……一些小男孩得了这种病，开始追逐黄貂鱼，他们用双手抓起一条黄貂鱼，把它举起来，它却在水中挣扎。（家长们根本不在乎）。我为黄貂鱼感到难过，整个水池都感觉很紧张，游动不规律等等。
如果你有钱，就带孩子们去吧，在预算有限的情况下，这绝对是一次节日享受。
