Our Excellent Scottish Adventure with Bruce Telford

点评：He picked us up after our stay in Edinburgh and guided us through the countryside to catch the ferry to the Isle of Mull. He’s been in the tour business for over 25 years and is a subject matter expert on all things Scotland.
His knowledge of history and must-see sites was extraordinary. He knows all the high roads, low roads, and roads less traveled. On our way to the ferry we hit a major highway accident and detour that took us 85 miles out of our way. We were afraid we would miss our ferry, but he knew all the alternative routes and we made it with no problem.
When bad weather canceled our Raptor Experience he quickly came up with terrific alternatives to see. Needless to say, he made sure everywhere we went was memorable.
We rejoined him after our stay in Mull and he filled our days with wonderful sites and history on the Isle of Skye. We enjoyed every place he took us.
For followers of Harry Potter, The Game of Thrones, or Outlander he provides tours dedicated to sites where they were filmed. He also travels across borders and offers tours throughout Europe.
His Great, Great, Great Uncle Thomas Telford was an engineer who built numerous bridges and churches throughout Scotland in the 1800s. This family connection added terrific insight to many of the bridges and churches we saw along the way. It made for a special connection.
Finally, how can you not love a guide who shows up each day with a freshly pressed and different colored kilt!
