A fantastic twist on the Afternoon Tea Experience - highly recommended

点评：Went on the 'Indian Afternoon Tea' trip with the Wensleydale Railway on a return journey from Leeming Bar to Leyburn. The whole experience was excellent and the food served was absolutely delicious. Make no mistake, this is not a 'Curry Train' experience but an Indian influenced Afternoon Tea with sandwiches and other Indian inspired savoury treats on the journey to Leyburn, plus Indian inspired sweet treats on the journey back from Leyburn. The quantity and quality of the food service was absolutely perfect.
The food service starts with a spectacular mini starter which 'explodes' taste in your mouth and was really fantastic. There is Prosecco served to start and endless tea/coffee throughout the trip. The on-board service from Tug and Moe was really personal and excellent, and overall this was a must-do experience. The staff from the Indian restaurant (The Green Apple Tree in Northallerton) who cook and provide the food served on the train were on-board and all were really friendly and gracious, and they explained each item that was provided to us.
This whole 'Indian Afternoon Tea' experience was something quite different to the usual sandwiches, cakes and scones version that is found everywhere else. It was really excellent and we would book again without hesitation.
