点评:Jaw dropping scenery and a must see tourist spot. We visited off season in March so had our fingers crossed for good weather. Day 1 was wet but was actually great as we basically had the place to ourselves. We had a thunderstorm and then a fine day so many different looks for the Sassi. Every corner is a picture opportunity. I love the fact the exteriors are left natural, this is very clever so it looks untouched but it is so fabulous inside the buildings. Out of all the places I’ve visited in the world this rates very high. Get up early to beat the bus tours and the crowds. Once the sun came out so did the people. Prices are good even in the stylish restaurants and there is a small supermarket where you can get some fresh rolls ham cheese etc. the ravine is massive and you can walk it however we drive to the other side opposite the Sassi and got a great view of the complete city and also managed to walk through some of the Palaeolithic caves. 100% worth the trip. Loved it. There are stairs everywhere you go so all the carbs are worked off:) make sure you see the underground aqueduct and the ancient church.
