点评：Baz briefed us really clearly on safety and on the route to follow across the lagoon so we felt safe, confident and well prepared, We were each given a clear laminated map of the route.
Then, before setting off, Baz showed us pictures and talked through with us the native birds to look out for,that lived in the area.
What a heavenly location it is! The beauty was stunning and as we paddled at one stage the snow capped mountains were in front of us in the distance. We saw much wildlife including up close the kotuku ( the great white heron) that only breeds in this area. We were blessed with good weather, but whatever the weather this is a trip you dont want to miss.
Back home in England now, we are so thankful for Baz and Gemma's hospitality and running this small business in such an outstanding way that gives people the opportunity of a life time to paddle in this most beautiful place. Thank you both so much.
