点评：We booked a private 2 hour carriage ride with Michelle. When we arrived Michelle and her beautifully turned out horse were waiting for us. From start to finish this was a very special experience. Michelle was very knowledgable about the island, she shared information and stories throughout our carriage ride. Taking us to particular points of interest and directing us where to look and what we’d see, without the local knowledge we would have missed these sights & interesting details.
I do think it should be pointed out that people reviewing how much more they may have seen on foot or by bicycle should be reminded that riding around the island on a horse and carriage is a very unique experience, it’s not a race to see as much as you can photograph in a few hours, more a participation in a culture. We had no problem paying the fee, knowing how much it costs to keep a horse and appreciating the time spent before and after looking after him.
Thank you Michelle and Sark carriages for a very memorable day that we have thoroughly enjoyed.
