点评：Dongmun Public Market quickly became part of my daily routine while I was in Jeju. It's the kind of place where you don’t just shop—you experience local life. I went here regularly to buy food, snacks, souvenirs, and even winter clothes I didn’t think I’d need!
The market has a great mix: fresh seafood (super fresh), juicy Jeju tangerines, and of course, their famous black pork. I also tried the tteokbokki from one of the stalls and it hit the spot—simple, satisfying, and served with a smile. The space is clean, organized, and despite being busy, never felt overwhelming.
What made this market stand out were the vendors—halmeonis and ajummas who were kind, helpful, and just genuinely sweet. Even if you don’t speak the language, there’s a connection that makes you feel welcome.
If you're in Jeju and want to taste, shop, and feel the heart of the island, this is your spot. Go hungry and go often.
