Breaks Interstate Park的点评
点评：I spent 3 nights/4 days at Breaks in one of the cabins. Check in was easy, the staff was helpful with directions, and friendly. The cabin worked well for my daughter and me. The floors and couches are a bit tired, but all are comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked, allowing us to cook dinner the nights we were there. (Check the restaurant hours before you arrive as they aren’t always open in the off season.) The big thing we came for- the hiking- was fantastic! We hit just about every trail. They were well blazed and marked on the sturdy trail maps available at the registration center and Visitor center. We also attended the Elk tour- so informative, and we saw Elk. The driver, BJ, and guide, Colleen were full of information about the area wildlife and communities. Ranger Ron was there, too, and we talked to him about the trails, their creation, and maintenance. A lot goes into keeping the park safe and enjoyable, we really appreciate their hard work. We also went on a fun mushroom finding hike with Colleen, definitely learned about them, a couple great apps for identifying nature, Seek and INaturalist. Breaks is a fantastic park, the views and trails are amazing and the people are really nice.
