点评:Carla gave us such a lovely experience at Frantoio Bartolomei. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and began our tour with a leisurely learning experience at the museum, which is home to many artifacts of the history of olive oil production and its different uses. Carla then showed us the modern day machinery used to process the olives and answered our many questions happily. We then went inside to experience the taste of very specific olive oils made of one kind of olive as well as blends- all were amazing. We enjoyed bruschetta with truffle and olive pate and a delicious white wine that was produced by grapes grown on the very same vineyard. Carla radiates the passion of her family’s long standing business and art of olive oil production, it was a beautiful experience and an honor to learn and taste at Frantoio Bartolomei! Thank you from 2 Chicago foodies.
