We saw more and enjoyed the free river taxi more than this awful experience

点评：We booked the Sunset cruise which promises authentic Thai entertainment, good food and drinks and signts of lots of major attractions.
It’s a scam.
First up -I’ve seen better entertainment at Butlins. The singer stared and continued for the entire cruise at an unbearably high volume where you can’t have any verbal communication with the people your with. Thai classics such as the Macarena or Gangnam Style - belted out poorly at unbearable volumes.
The food is buffet, was ‘ok’ quality but literally served like a pack of animals. No order to it , everyone just dives in all at once.
Drinks - beer included, poorer warm in to glasses . Dreadful. Wine - extra charge at extortionate prices. 800 baht for a spackling water that is 100 baht in the shops.
As the for scenic part - whisked past, no announcements and as you have no choice of seating booked online, we were a second row of ‘canteen like’ tables in and so saw backs of people’s heads.
Aside from a select few people enjoying the dancing to the music, the crowd to get off as the boat docked was a sign that many others must have thought the same.
Saving grace ? We managed to save our ear drums and sneak out the the deck for a bit.
