点评:Visited with my grandson who has special needs and was wearing a Sunflower lanyard to inform everyone. Ticket office staff were lovely and very friendly. We went straight to the animal petting area where 2members of staff present. Considering we were the only public in there at the time a greeting or at least a hello would have been nice, but instead my grandson was told very sternly ‘ No. No don’t feed him!’ when he simply held out a long strand of straw to a rabbit that was sitting on a bale of straw. He was clearly and visibly nervous and this was a way for him to connect with the rabbit. The rabbit sniffed the straw which was nice and pleased him. After the lady spoke to him this way he no longer wanted to or felt able to interact with an any of the animals and wanted to leave the barn. His carers present were right by his side and were clearly supervising him closely. We chose this establishment due to you being linked to the SEND community. This spoiled the feeling for the rest of the visit and we decided to go for a walk and eat our picnic instead of trying to see other animals. We could have done this for free elsewhere.
