Awful for disabled children and pig ignorant staff.

点评：This place is an absolute disgrace on their treatment of disabled children. I got bad vibes before even entering the swimming area as the metal railings in the reception area made it a tight squeeze for my disabled daughter’s pram but the worst was still to come. At reception the receptionist refused to allow my disabled daughter’s float that was vital for her into the pool. I was told that I had to buy one from them but they were all inadequate for her needs. I was told that was”policy.” To be blunt the staff at reception were pig ignorant and had zero idea on how to conduct themselves.
Upon entering the so called changing rooms we were met with a complete shambles and utter chaos. Without a disabled daughter these “facilities” are completely awful. It is clear that they sell far, far too many tickets for each session that the small and narrow changing rooms can hold. They are overcrowded and a disaster. It is clear that customer experience in the changing rooms is not even a thought. Far too many tickets sold for each session. There is absolutely nothing in the place for disabled children changing wise, if there was I wasn’t shown any and shame on the staff for that as my 8 year old daughter clearly cannot walk. Instead we were left to find and wait for a larger room to facilitate my daughter’s needs and even these were completely useless. On top of that other people were constantly knocking on the door to see if it was being used.
The pool itself offers very little for disabled children as many of the areas involved steps. For example the tiny slides at the front of the pool and the toddler one. As a parent it was a horrible experience and I will not be back. The place is a time capsule for the 1990s and needs knocked down and rebuilt or serious refurbishment to bring it into 2024.
