点评：Beware new dog lounge layout. Having been travelling on Red Funnel for many years with our dogs we are baffled by the new seating arrangement on the Red Falcon ferry. The seating used to accommodate small tables and individual chairs allowing dogs to be safely seated on the floor in a relatively protected space. The new open plan layout means dogs will now be very close to other dogs in an open layout, this is extremely unhelpful if you have a reactive or nervous dog. The tables are too far away from the seating, it will be difficult for parents with young children and dogs to sit in a group. I appreciate that Red Funnel have accommodated more seats but I do not think they have paid attention to the potential problems they have created. Please be aware if are on a busy crossing and you have a nervous dog.
