I hired Giuseppe to drive my ill 80 year old mother and I, a 65 yo 104lb woman, to the other side of Naples from Sorrento (I didn’t want to drive a rental car thru Naples). I was to pick up a rental car in an outlying area. He sent a driver and all was good until we got stuck in traffic and it was taking too long . Giuseppe called the driver and instructed him to immediately drop us off and turn around to pick up the next customer. The driver was apologetic but was stuck doing his job or getting fired. So He pulled off the expressway to drop us in the middle of the Naples! I was panicked and told him I would not pay until we were safe in a cab! So the driver drove to the bus station, parked and started taking our luggage out of the car!! We spoke no Italian! My mother could hardly walk and now we had all our luggage (we don’t pack light and are in Italy for a month) stranded in the middle of Naples ! Absolutely terrified and in a massively congested area of people with A mile long line for a taxi! A wonderful woman (angel I believe) offered to help and she somehow got a cab driver that hadn’t entered the que to pick up bus ppl yet. He was hesitant but we thru money at him and he agreed. I also would NOT pay the driver yet so he had to help.
We were so grateful to this local woman.!! NEVER use this company! It traumatized us being dumped in the chaos of the Naples we paid a lot to avoid! It would have been less time taking us to where we agreed, another 20 min ride, but I would not pay him till we were safely on our way to our rental car on the other side of Naples. It was the most terrifying situation that Giuseppe put us in because he had another call to pick up someone else!!! It cost us an additional $200 for the 25min cab ride.
