Slightly disappointing
Hurst Castle的点评
点评：We visited Hurst Castle on a Saturday morning and took the ferry from Keyhaven to the Castle.
Whilst entrance was included in our membership, I feel it would have been more disappointing if I paid for 2 adults and 1 child. The cafe was expensive, £7.75 for a hot chocolate and a piece of shortbread.
Some of the walkways in the castle was quite uneven, some rooms had no lighting and there is a lot of renovation going on so some parts are blocked off.
The 7 year old was not that interested in most of the exhibits. I feel some investment is needed on making it more interactive for children. It was interesting for me to see how much the castle had expanded since it was first built.
For me, the best part was the ferry to and from the castle.
If castles and military are your thing, then its probably worth a visit.
