Honeymoon - Vineyard Tour & Private Picnic, with Private Luxury Transfer.

We have just got back from our honeymoon in Crete, following recommendation we booked this trip through our hotel. This was worth every penny. We were picked up by a lady in a nice Mercedes vehicle, brought to the vineyard where we met the most amazing and knowledgeable lady (so sorry i have forgotten your name). She walked us through the vineyard, and then inside to see how the wine is made and stored, talking us through each step of making different wines. She was lovely, and funny too.
We then had our private picnic, in our own area overlooking the vineyards. She talked us through wine tasting and pairing, and explained what wines go with which foods.
The Food - WOW, we had a selection of cheeses, meats, zucchini fritters, meat balls, wedges, a Greek bruschetta, and much more. I am still trawling the internet trying to find some of those cheeses to purchase!
The Wine - we had a selection of 2 whites, a rose and a red, followed by a desert wine. SO GOOD.
We had an absolutely amazing and lovely day, was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
