Aquarist for the day- Bournemouth Oceanarium

点评：Our family gifted our 13 year old son an Aquarist for the Day experience for his birthday. He loves animals and had hoped to do one of these experience days for many years. This experience was a real treat but was worth every penny.
My son and I spent a whole day at Bournemouth Oceanarium, going in an hour before opening time and experiencing the Aquarium when it was empty of visitors. Lukas, the Aquarist, who guided us for the day, was incredibly informative, friendly and clearly loves his job.
The day included many different tasks; preparing food for a range of animals including otters, sharks and turtles, learning how to feed the majority of the animals, including by learning how to target feed & using specialist equipment and handfeeding the otters, (at a safe distance as they are an apex predator!).
We would definitely recommend this experience, I think it will definitely be remembered as one of the best days of our son's life!
