点评:Enjoyable visit. We booked a time slot online and STILL had to queue 30 minutes to get it. It was a Saturday, not a school holiday but insanely busy. Maybe have 2 queues one for pre-booked and 1 for walk ups? The idea of booking slots is to ease the flow of people around the aquarium and queue time. This didnt apply today.
At the Atlantic exhibit we were fortunate enough to have ‘Matthew’ give us some fun facts, point out a shark egg and showed us which species were us. Incredibly passionate, full of knowledge and a real credit to the aquarium. Unsure if he was a volunteer or staff. A youngish chap but credit where credit is due.
We didnt stay too long as it was soo busy but had lunch in the cafe. Prices were affordable and reasonable for a tourist attraction. Sandwich fridges only had ham & coleslaw available though.
Will return with passes another day and hopefully will be able to squeeze in to see the tanks up close better. Also families eating their picnics in the shark area…?! Taking up prolonged space so many couldn’t get underneath or up close and stinking the room with cheese & onion crisp!
