点评：Fascinating place that's well worth a visit! Opulent architectural design and interior that gives a clear portrayal of Beth of Hardwick's lifestyle and aims. Well presented over various floors and rooms are a range of tapestries that fill each room, showing either a classical theme or religious story. In each room is a voluntary member of staff willing to share the history of the room itself or the items within it. a clearly signed route takes you through each section of the hall, including the living quarters of the last owner of the property before moving out. The gardens are well worth a visit, though at this time of year very little is in bloom apart from a lovely range of snowdrops. Still the pure layout of the gardens is worth exploring. The cafe offers a good range of drinks, snacks and lunches with indoor and outdoor seating with an excellent view. As the property is National Trust both the property and grounds are very well maintained. overall, it's well worth a visit - either through paying on the day or through being a member of the National Trust.
