Cute lighthouse with good ocean views
Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park的点评
点评：I LOVE visiting lighthouses and make a point to try and do so whenever I'm near one. Point Cabrillo is not the most impressive light I've visited but it is very charming and the view is still impressive. It has clearly been upkept well and all the other buildings match the lighthouse in color and style.
The park operates under regular business hours so I was not able to make it to the gift shop while it was open. However, I was delighted that you are still able to go and visit the (outside of) the lighthouse after it has "closed". And with no admission cost! It's a bit of a walk (downhill) from the parking lot but the path is paved and accessible. There are picnic tables where you can enjoy the view.
This is definitely a must-see if you are staying in the area, especially if you need a little something to do. I didn't notice any paths down to the beach but there are so many other beaches in the area that it was nice to enjoy some cliffs without the temptation of the climb haha.
