A little gem, once you get through the entrance!
The Shakespeare Centre的点评
点评：Tickets are fairly pricey for a full price adult (£19.60) and really disappointing to see no pensioner concession. I was able to claim a blue light card discount, so total cost wasn't so bad.
Entry into the centre felt like overkill - roped off between each visitor, a very thorough bag search (don't get me wrong, I do understand why it's needed) and a real hard sell to buy the all-house ticket.
Once you're inside, it's a little gem. Beautiful artefacts and interesting info boards. I would have liked more written information within the house as it was quite annoying to listen to everyone scanning and playing the QR audio guides on their phones. But it's a very special place and the guides were helpful.
The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to see two actors playing scenes from various plays in the performing area. Such a treat.
Gift shop very reasonably priced with lovely things to buy.
