In dire need of improvement

点评：Despite having visited in the past and had a great time, as things stand at the moment, it really isn't worth a visit or your money. The one positive is that the staff were lovely. However a large number of the interactive exhibits were simply not working, meaning that the kids were bored and frustrated. So much so that we spent more time trying to either get something to work, or look for something that was actually working. We felt let down and over charged.
We also had problems with the cafe too as it stops food at 2pm not 5pm as implied by the opening hours on the website. Please take note if you're expecting a late lunch or a snack after then! The only food available was sweet treats and ice cream, no crisps or sandwiches or anything more substantial.
Having raised the issues in more detail with the museum directly, I'm assured that there is soon to be some much needed rejuvenation taking place. My advice would be save your money until that refresh has taken place. After that, we'd be very happy to visit again in the hope that it will again be a fun day out.
