点评：We had an amazing liveboard experience aboard Explorer Venture's Tiburon Explorer. Flying from Romania to the Galapagos is a logistic challenge, but Stephane from Explorer Ventures was absolutely stellar in helping out with everything required to make the whole journey as seamless as possible. In spite of the hectic operational schedule of Quito airport.
The cruise itself was great, with probably the best service we've ever seen on a liveboard. The whole crew was amazing, and the guides ensured that every dive was conducted in the safest manner. We went with a private guide because we heard a lot about the current conditions, and while we encountered very few challenging dives, Angel, our guide, was impeccable.
While whale sharks and oceanic mantas eluded us, we went to Galapagos for the hammerheads and boy did the cruise delivered! However, the marine iguanas and sealion pups dive was probably my favourite dive of the week. Food was great and, again, the overall service was incredible. The two included land trips were super fun as well and really well organised. Speaking of things included, the fact that beverages (both soft and alcoholic) are conplimentary was very good value and helps offset what is otherwise probably one of the most expensive liveboards you can do right now. Yet totally worth it!
