Awful service and kitchen staff attitude

点评:I come here a lot with friends almost on a weekly basis for coffee and food. However, there are some points that the garden centre managers need to consider and I hope they take this on board. Firstly, as we come mainly for the cafe and I bring elderly friends walking around the whole of the centre and getting lost due to poor signage is not acceptable to reach the cafe as it’s by the exit and tills. If this is a marketing ploy it’s pathetic and is always a factor when visiting.
Secondly, the toilets are outside the building which you have to leave the cafe to go to and then walk all the way around again because of having to explain to staff that you only nipped out to go to the loo.
Now for the experience, I came here and brought my family who were visiting from London. 10 of us. We queued to order food and by the time we reached the till it was 15:0 1 and two of the party had ordered fish and chips from the menu that stops serving at 15:00 . Even though we paid for the items the kitchen staff refused to make the meals meaning we got a refund and because we thought this was pathetic we left. Not only did they let a table of 10 go but all future business from us. Shame really because in some circumstances you really need to weigh up the situation and make a good choice. Poor management and poor attitude from the kitchen.
Unfortunately I won’t be going again and neither will I bring anyone again.
