Balmoral Castle的点评
点评：We spent a day here in the Summer. We booked tickets for the garden and one room. Hoards of tourists hit us as we entered the grounds.
We viewed the gardens, had a Quick Look in the gallery and walked on one of the footpaths in the grounds. I was intrigued to see more of the interior of the castle but the tickets had sold out and I didn’t think it warranted the huge price tag.
After visiting lots of gardens over the years I expected Balmoral gardens, in particular the kitchen gardens to be more impressive. It looked like produce was growing ready for the royal arrivals in the Summer.
We called into the newly opened cafe for a cuppa. They were not serving cooked food in the evening so I cannot comment on the quality.
It is important to note that if you love the area and want more of a ‘Balmoral’ experience cottages around the estate can be hired when the royal family are not present.
If you want to visit I suggest you pick a sunny day and enjoy the gardens and ground.
