Loft style room - dated and dirty. Needs an upgrade.

点评：I read a lot of the reviews before staying here. People are right about the average ratings.
The only reason I chose this place, is it’s 5 min away from Vettä. (Vettä was a 10/10 experience, by the way).
As we first walked in, I thought wow! Because it is so spacious with it being a two level loft. Main floor is a living room area with a slight lower level with chairs near a electric fireplace. Upper level has the King size bed. A bathroom on both floors.
Then you take a closer look. Weird stains everywhere. The ceiling, the walls, the carpets, the furniture, even in the bathroom.
Used the jets in the tub and it gave off a really weird smell. (Like when old hairdryers would overheat. Or old vacuums.)
I did not feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. The King bed was ok, at least it was clean.
Wifi connection is weak and barely works in the room.
Some good things: the staff and service are wonderful. The food at Eleven01 was good. We enjoyed the thin crust pizzas.
I had really low expectations for breakfast (continental style) with minimal options. But it was a full buffet with hot options (scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, waffles) with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt and pastries. Breakfast was better than expected.
I can see how this place was super swanky in the 90s, but now it feels dated and a little gross. Can’t comment on the amenities, maybe they’re great. But based on the room, I wouldn’t come back.
