Quite simply a trip of a lifetime (Marrakesh – Merzouga desert)

点评：Just an incredible 3 days. I arranged everything online with Mustapha; this was my first time doing any kind of tour and he was so easy to plan everything with and super accommodating. My friend group was 7 girls in total. We got picked up from Marrakesh airport and hit the road straight away to Merzouga. Our driver was Mohamed, who was fantastic. It was long drives there and back and they went smoother than I even hoped (I’m prone to car sickness but was absolutely fine lol). The views were beautiful along the entire journey (High Atlas Mountains, Aït Benhaddou, little stalls selling things by the roads, etc). We spent 2 nights at a luxury camp in the desert, and I’m so glad we stayed 2 nights instead of just one. This way we had the full day in the middle to explore the place, wake up when we wanted, eat when we wanted, get camel rides to the top of the high dunes to watch the sunset, try sandboarding, and then there was a fire and drum party back in the camp that night after dinner. The staff in the food hall were wonderful too, like seeing when we got up and making sure there was fresh pancakes for us (things were fine for one vegetarian and one gluten-free). The 2 tents my friends and I stayed in were so pretty and very comfortable. I feel like nothing was too much to ask and I can hardly think of a bad point. I recommend them completely.
