点评:If you're into folk art, Galeria Atotonilco is well worth a visit. Don't come here looking for bargains; the art is exceptional, well curated, and priced accordingly. It was founded and run by two Berkeley architects whose home is also on the property, a colorful, post-modern complex. After visiting the gallery, call an Uber or cab (or make your previous one wait; it's about a 20-minute drive from SMDA) and go into the little village of Atotonilco. There are crafts stalls and apparently a church worth visiting (we couldn't go in as there was a religious event going on). Then walk up the highway to find Mama Mia Campestre, a beautiful farm-to-table restaurant in a mesquite grove with a koi-filled pond and al fresco dining. It was my favorite day during our trip to SMDA!
