Parque Nacional Conguillio的点评
点评：We visited several NP whilst staying in Pucon. They were all great but this was one my favourite. It was quite a drive from Pucon - 2.5 hours ew but worth it.
It's a big park and the main sights and trails are some distance apart. There is no transport within the park so I highly recommend going with a car.
It's quite varied too. As we only had the day there we hiked a couple of the shorter trails and then part of a longer one so we could see as much as possible.
The Canadon Truful Truful is a good 20 min loop right by the ranger station as you enter to appreciate the lava fields as is the Volcan Liama trail. Bit more strenuous and we just did 45min ew to the coloured rocks.
We did the Lago Captren easy 2.5km loop which was OK, not that exciting aside from the view to the volcano, but you don't need to do the whole loop for the view. I recommend the Playa Linda trail to at least the second mirador, which has a fantastic view. It's a fairly steep 1.7km.
It's also worth taking the turn off from the main park road to Laguna Verde. It's only a couple of kms and offers a beautiful view. There is another small lake near lots of monkey puzzle trees that is lovely, with the bluest water, but I can't recall it's name.
