点评:We had a great couple of hours just outside of Oukaimden seeing the prehistoric rock art. Quite a marvelous experience particularly after the overnight snow. We were very reliant on TransKesh providing us with a driver and vehicle to get us up in to the Atlas Mountains and then for finding us a guide when we reached the spot we needed to be.
Whilst it's not impossible to find some of the art oneself we very much benefited from having a Berber guide as the information boards were unsurprisingly very weathered (I should have thought of this). Our guide, Ismail if I remember his name correctly, could speak enough French and English, as well as Spanish and German. Enough to not only lead us to the art put also help us understand the conservation pressures for the art work in a farming environment outside of the area protected for its nature.
We are losing art and culture, take time to see it whilst you can. Do use a guide and put money back in to the local economy. And tread lightly so as not to add to the erosion.
Certainly not a cheap day out being about 1.5-2hrs out of Marrakesh but well worth the Euros; we should have been better prepared for the cost of the guide.
and then it was off to Lunch.
sorry I can not comment on the village/ski station.
