A perfect way to spend a day away from the tourists traps and crowds

点评：A nice day on the water away from the hustle and bustle or the more cliche tourist attractions
We actually stumbled across the Outpost driving along 301 and decided to look it up. It looked good for a last day before heading home adventure. We booked a Canoe online for the next day.
The next day we were promptly greeted by the owner upon arrival and checked in. The instructions and photo aided information before boarding our canoe was helpful
The River was at 3.5' depth that was a slow and comfortable pace, but there are various underwater snags to navigate.
With a restroom break at the first state park location and a picnic stop at the second state park location pavilion we spent 4.5 hours going from the Outpost to the pickup. 5.0-5.5 hours total. A good day for two at under $70 all in. I added a T-shirt and hat combo for another $20+.
All said and done for under $100 and loved it.
Definitely bring Sunblock, water, snacks, a lunch, a change of clothes.and water shoes or wet footwear. There are restrooms, a changing room and a shower on site..
