Beautiful small tranquil grounds, exquisite location

点评：A lovely day trip with my son and mother in law. We had beautiful sunny weather and the gardens were blooming with so many different flowers! We took advantage of a free voucher, definitely worth using them to explore this quaint little location. The staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable. It's not a huge place compared to other parks like mottisfont but perfect for a few hours to explore and enjoy some drinks and lunch at the cafe. Its a small cafe and gets busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait but again the staff are all fantastic working hard to keep up with the queues. Sandwich was delicious too! Coffee was very nice quality. The shop is very well maintained, the shop keeper although it was quiet in there was busy dusting and cleaning shelves all immaculately displayed! We were offered boxes to help store plants we bought which was very thoughtful. A well stocked book shop to explore too. We went into the main house the guides were all so friendly and knowledgeable offering information about anything we wanted to know about and the were very good with my 8 year old son who was inquisitive and was also keen to ask questions and learn about aspects of the property and the gentleman that resided there. He particularly found the library room fascinating with the fake book secret doors. The views from the house are breathtaking. Many interesting artefacts in the house to ask questions about and some key facts printed out to learn aspects about the property and the owners family history.
Easy to park here and plenty of disabled spaces too. Staff were very helpful with guiding my mother in law to ramp access with her rolator.

这里停车方便，也有很多残疾人停车位。工作人员非常乐于助人，引导我岳母用助行器通过斜坡进入。
绝对推荐来这里度过2-3个小时的探索时光，在宁静的庭院里放松身心。
