Would definitely recommend- great guide, amazing views, hike can take longer than expected

点评：Actually did a 2 day trek back in 2022 with Snowden and team, but never got round to reviewing till now! Would definitely recommend, we had an amazing time although we didn't reach peak due to limited time, still saw amazing views, especially on 2nd day when we were above the clouds! Snowden and porters were excellent, and well prepared with plenty of water food etc for everyone. They kept us safe on trails and made sure no one left behind, guided over rocky parts etc. We stayed overnight in bothy/ lodge and it was basic but clean and had good fire! Would recommend taking plenty warm clothing as gets very cold at night - there was frost on ground but being Scottish we are used to that!
Make sure take plenty suncream also as higher up limited shade.
I'd also recommend being very clear re timings if going back to Blantyre after finishing trek, we were keen not to drive back in dark due to road conditions, but ended up very tight for time, so were driving 2nd half of journey after sundown. We had specified this preference with guides who said we would get back in time but think there was misunderstanding and they meant we'd be down the mountain by dark, not back In Blantyre so this was probably our fault for not being clearer.
I Would go with Snowden and Mulanji adventure team again as trust them to guide safely, fingers crossed I will get to return!
