Floralia - Spring Flower Show的点评
点评：I visited Floralia as part of a Parrys coach trip. What immediately struck me upon arriving at this festival was the castle. It's so beautiful. As it was a week before Easter at the time of my visit, they were giving away mini chocolate eggs at the entrance. We were also given a little booklet that had a map on the back.
You enter the festival by walking over the bridge and through the castle entrance. There's a shop immediately as you go in, selling a variety of bulbs - both loose and planted up in pots. Shopping here can quickly become expensive though!
The park is easy enough to walk around without needing the map. There's over a million bulbs this year and it really is an extraordinary sight to see! I was there on a beautiful sunny day, and the air smelt amazing!
The toilets were clearly signposted in English and cost 0.50€ to use. There was a large marquee serving reasonably priced food and drink with plenty of seating outside it. There was also a play area near the greenhouses.
Maya the bee (a popular Belgian children's TV character) is at this year's show and children can have fun spotting her friends around the park. People can also pose with Maya herself at certain times of the day.
I loved exploring this park and didn't want to leave! Seeing all those gorgeous flower displays filled my heart with joy. Floralia is a must-see.
