Well worth the guided tour
瑞典王宫的点评
点评：This was excellent and I cannot praise our guide highly enough. His pace was excellent - delivery superb and he made it an interesting and fascinating tour.
It was bigger and more comprehensive than we thought and whereas they recommend - I think 1.5 hours, we’d have done 2 hours easily but ran into the 4pm closing time so missed the Treasury.
This did not spoil our visit.
Typical of what we have found in Stockholm is how polite, kind, generous and accommodating the staff were. This makes it a pleasure to go anywhere and one of my highlights of our trip.
Hidden away in the palace is what I’d call the throne room - it’s at the end of a long corridor and looks more like an exit as we didn’t see any sign. But it’s a magnificent hall housing the silver throne. It’s a gem so find it … built to be impressive … and it doesn’t disappoint.
