Exuberant adventure on the river

点评：We had only half a day left the next day before we departed. We walked in to an adventure happy travels booth which we were passing by. The attendant was quick to reassure us that she could arrange something for us. She suggested River tubing with a 10 year old and 16 year old together with my wife. That sounded fun and the brochures painted a wonderful picture what we can expect.
The nest day the Cairns Adventure Group personnel were on time to pick us up from our hotel Novotel Oasis Resort. After picking up a few others we ventured out to the river. During the ride, Zack the person in charge was explaining to us about the adventure and the Do’s and don’ts in a funny and jovial manner captivating his audience. Of course he ensured that the pertinent points were understood by all of us. He and his team of two girls; Laura and Dorothy took Greta care of us and after splitting us into teams we ventured out into the river enjoying nature and comprehensive explanations given by the guides. All the guides had ensured that we knew the safety protocols thoroughly before heading out. The weather and the speed of the water in the river were perfect. We had a few wow moments as the rapids at certain points were a tad faster adding to the excitement we all had. There was also a chance for us to have a dip in the river. It was so refreshing as the sun beat on us through the sparse canopy formed by the natural vegetation. It was simply beautiful and we all had an enjoyable time. We had snacks provided by the team at the end and went home having a sense of great satisfaction. Kuddos to the Team! Tank you once again; Zack, Laura and Dorothy!
