点评:My husband’s father toured Normandy with Trevor 10+ years ago and we were able to link up with Trevor ourselves during our visit. So glad we did. He displays a beautiful reverence for the happenings of D-Day and those who lost their lives but kept things fun during our drives to each site. He’s quite a character and had us laughing A LOT. Plus, as Americans, it was interesting to get Trevor’s perspective as someone who is both French and American. His ability to set the scene at each landing site and narrate what the Allied troops experienced is a true gift, presented with passion, awe and a sense of solemn appreciation. I got quite emotional during many parts of the tour. The tour was initially more for my husband, the history buff, but I learned so much beyond the knowledge I gained from high school History classes and Hollywood films. This is clearly not just a “job” for Trevor; it’s a passion.
