点评：It's wonderful to relax knowing that you are in the care of people who know what they are doing, in the most important ways. From the meeting in San Diego to our return though Tijuana customs and airport, all interchanges were orchestrated fluidly --no glitches. But more, each and every person at Baja Discovery inspired me. I came home rejuvenated. Baja Discovery has integrity. It has a dedication to protecting the Lagoon and the whales and sea life that depend on their last safe place on earth. At Baja Discovery, Punta Piedra, we lived lightly on the land. We had solar power, solar showers and solar lanterns. We ventured out to visit the whales twice every day, but we did not chase them. The friendly ones came to us. Our camp was right on the whale watching zone, and we could see them from the shore. World class naturalists and whale specialists accompanied us on the pangas and led lively and fun conversations every evening. Our panga captains were local marineros who knew the winds, the tides, the waves to the detail and brought us safely to shore when it got too rough. The food was superb, local, and fresh, and cooked by local San Ignacio people; the fish caught that day by local fishermen.
It's wonderful to relax knowing that you are not adding to the burden on the environment by your visit, but lightening the impact and bringing prosperity to the life, human and otherwise, there.-- and everything, everything, accomplished with joy and competence and camaraderie. In astoundingly short time, in a few days, we all became an adapting, fluid, interrelating, happy group, thanks to the care and enthusiasm of the Baja Discovery team. Time of my life.
